What began with a small group of carefully selected cows has since evolved into a focused breeding operation built on longevity, maternal strength, and structural soundness. Over the past 19 years, we have strategically invested in elite females from respected programs including Wattletop, Forres, Miller Wilson (Canada), Farrer, N-Bar, and more recently, KO and Rossander. These genetics form the backbone of the Scarbah Angus herd and continue to influence our breeding decisions today.

Scarbah Angus Inaugural Open Day & Sale – A Milestone Day
What a day!
A massive thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural Scarbah Angus Open Day and Sale. From long-time supporters to first-time visitors, we were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to showcase the cattle, genetics, and breeding program we are so passionate about.
Despite the wet (but very welcome) weather, the day was a tremendous success and a significant milestone for our family and the Scarbah Angus program.
We were delighted to see all sale lots find new homes, with bulls purchased by producers throughout the New England region and into southern Queensland. It is always rewarding to see cattle bred and developed at Scarbah Angus head out to commercial operations where they can make a genuine impact.
A special congratulations goes to the successful purchaser from Narromine, who secured our entire draft of females. Seeing this outstanding group remain together as they begin the next chapter of their journey is particularly exciting, and we look forward to following their progress in their new herd.
We would also like to acknowledge and thank the Nutrien Armidale team. Harry, Ed and Cody provided outstanding support throughout the lead-up and on sale day itself, helping ensure the event ran smoothly and professionally from start to finish.
As we reflect on the weekend, we are incredibly proud of what was achieved and thankful for the support shown by our clients, friends, family, and industry partners. Launching our inaugural sale has been a goal we have worked towards for many years, making this milestone particularly special for us.
Building on that momentum, we are excited to announce our 2026 Sale Season. We invite producers and industry friends to join us for our Open Day on Saturday, 25 July 2026, followed by our Annual Bull Sale on Wednesday, 5 August 2026. We look forward to welcoming both returning and new clients to Scarbah Angus to inspect this year's sale team and see the continued progress of our breeding program.
This sale marks an exciting step forward for Scarbah Angus, and we look forward to continuing to build relationships, improve our breeding program, and provide quality Angus genetics to the beef industry for years to come.
